"It was a great performance against a good team and we dominated the game. They scored from a poor set peice and you think here we go... But great goal, Boppy great strike as soon as it hits him and it puts us stright back in the game, and all of a sudden theres belief again."

Asked wether he felt the team should have scored more, "At 2-1 your always worry. But its good that we're making chances and its good that we have good energy. Thats what I wanted from the team, when we put the team together we thought we didnt have enough energy last year. I wanted an energy that would give me first half and second half performances. Thats what we had because we kept going."

"Scunthorpe are a good team on the counter-attack, we saw that last year, but they didnt catch us this year. We looked solid and its something we have to keep working at but we build from a good base as we have players in the squad who are going to score and get chances."

Looking at the points deduction, Knill is hoping to reduce that by another 3 points at Bradford next Saturday. "Let's hope its minus one after Bradford. It was going to be difficult but the only way to answer it is to show what we're showing. 2 Wins on the trot, one away one at home against what people think are good teams. You can only win the games in front of you."

"Today was a better performance. We've played Brighton which we were'nt too happy with. We played better at Huddersfield, played pretty well away at Blackpool and today I thought we played very well against a good team."

Knill praised young striker Will Hoskins, "'ve brought him in today because hes looked lively. Hes looked lively in training, he looked lively when he came on at Blackpool and I thought he looked lively today. He just needs a goal, he probably could have taken 2 touches at the far post today. But his general workrate and hold up play was a lot better today, and if he continues that he can be a top player."
