Sending Off was the Turning Point - Knill

"The referee decided to send Shaun off on 28 minutes which left us with an hour left to play with ten men, coming off the back of three other really tough games it made it really difficult."

"We went 3-1 down after being 1-0 up and you think the worst, but I have to say that the spirit and mentality of the players was brilliant, they kept coming forward and deservedly scored and came back to 3-2, and looked like there was only one team going to score.

Knill was asked about Barkers sending off which looked very harsh, "I dont think it was, He's sent him off for two yellows, I thought the full back was round, its funny though as we went stright up the other end and had a similar situation when Will turned thier center half and the ref gives nothing, I don't see the difference but the ref has his own reasons."

Sent Off
With injuries, Knill had to bring in a lot of the young lads into the squad, in fact 6 out of the 16 were members from the reserves and youth team. Knill gave them some praise. "The lads have waited for thier chance and when they get it they have to take it. Sam (Duncum) started, it was a difficult game for him today but I thought he aquitted himself well and Stephen Brogan came on. Stephen's a very good footballer, he moved the ball around and looks confident and I thought he was excellent."

Will Hoskins kept his place in the team after Deon Burton's transfer to the pigs was completed yesterday, "Will played well, We've always known about Will and what he can do and what he can't do. It was a different game for him today, he had to battle on his own when we went 4-4-1 and he worked really hard."

"Him and Butts look a decent partnership and like they're going to score. Will has done pretty well in the last couple of games, he just needs to continue doing the same thing and I'm sure he will have a bright career in front of him."

Knill will be wanting to dip into the transfer market as the Millers have a full physio room while suspensions are biting into the wafer-thin squad, "We have four out so we have to bring somebody in, We have a few names and ideas of who we want. When we get them and if we can get them, I shall sit down tomorrow with the cheif exec and whoever else and they'll tell us yes or no."
