Scott pleased with a bit of luck.

"I'm pleased with the result and the clean sheet, how we got it I don't know to be honest, but we got it. It was the first time this season that we can say we've had a bit of luck on our side and you do need it."

"It was'nt a great game and neither side got any momentum going, It was a funny sort of game where we had a couple of chances then they had a couple of chances, then the game died a little bit and nobody could get a hold of the game. We didnt put the ball into the front players feet, it was things that we've worked on this week so that was frustrating seeing it open up during the game and we didnt execute it properly."

"Defensively when you havent had a clean sheet for a while and the game goes on you start to get a little bit nervy and a little bit deeper and they haven't had a good result for a while so they get a little nervy and deeper so it was a little bit of a stand off really, they missed a couple of really good chances in fairness to them."

"We just looked a little bit anxious in the final third and get the foot on the ball, first half we didn't get enough crosses in early enough and when we did we looked like we could score, thier keepers made a terrific save off Danny Harrison in the first half."

"John Mullin steps out, sees a run off Grabban and puts it in an area where we know we can get at them, Sam Woods made a good run into the area and scored the goal, all of a sudden we passed the ball better after that and got it wide, and even then the decision making was frustrating."

"But, it's three points, a clean sheet and we're on a roll and moving up the league and we've hit a good spell of form at the right time, we've got players coming back from injury and we've had a bit of luck on our side as well. We'll take all that as a Christmas present."

"It's a mixture of things why we didn't get the breaks, its decision making on the ball, it's anxiousness, it's picking the right pass or identifying the way we should be playing or people in the right places. We just tended to be like 'Well here's the ball, I'm going to pass it to you and let you get on with it rather than I'm going to pass it to you then see what I can do for you.'"

"But we're still working and trying and frustration that everyone feels when we're not playing great is the same frustration I feel, but as defender when you've not a clean sheet for a while and the balls coming to you and you have any doubts I'd rather them clear it than take a touch and get caught with it and conceed a goal, thats the basis to start from."
