Ronnies Reaction - Wigan Athletic

And the for the second, Swaz and Macca must have played 1000 games between them so to get done by a ball like that was cruel."

However Ronnie was happy with the fans support, "The crowd were good today, they stayed with us and got behind us, it's just a shame we couldnt give them anything"

"The performance and support was there but the cutting edge wasnt, we're desperate for somebody to put the ball in the back of the net for us, we just can seem to hang on to a 0-0, because it looked to me that it was going to be a 0-0, but then Vernazza gets something in his head and takes that quick free kick when he should have waited, lets do the right things in the right areas, if that didnt go in then it would have been 0-0."

Then Ronnie speaks about his contract, it had been put on the agenda for the days board meeting. "I've heard nothing, but somethings got to be sorted, it's going on! It's like a saga its getting worse than coronation street if I'm honest!."

Why the **** did he do that breck??

"I have four months left on my contract, of they want me here then fine, if they dont then lets do something about it! Basically the lads dont know whats happening, the stability in the club isnt there so lets do something about it and quickly."

When asked if the uncertainty over his contract spills out onto the the players on the pitch he answered with "I dont think so, What's going on behind the scenes does'nt go onto the pitch I dont think anyway, but it needs sorting sooner rather than later. But I cant ask for more from the players, they gave their all, the comittment was there, basically we werent as good as them, we dont have the same quality player they've got, but we could have got a 0-0 but unfortunately when players decide to do things off their own back we get punished for it."
