The last couple of days have seen Ronnie's job under some serious threat, with
No Thanks say Fans
various rumours saying that Paul Gascoinge had been offered the Managers job, Yorkshire (leeds) TV had gone as far as saying Gazza had been appointed the new boss!

The majority of the Millmoor faithfull had been enraged about this, although some have called for Ronnie's head (see our poll!), but the first thing Ronnie saw after walking down the tunnel on Tuesday night was a packed Tivoli end and Main Stand giving him a standing ovation and chanting his name, surely giving our new owners-elect something to think about, although Darren Millington has gone on record saying Ronnie's job is safe until at least the new year.

Ronnie told Radio Sheffield, "I felt humble with that it was magnificent, to get a reception like that with the position we're in was magnificent and I'll remember that for the rest of my life, it was good for the Tivoli to do it and all around the ground, I never expected that. It's just a pity we could'nt have won or taken something out of the game to send the fans home happy."

"Before the game I asked the players to give there all, get our there, roll thier sleves up and get back to what Rotherhams about, I think they've give they're all, I dont think anybody has'nt. The crowd were magnificent again and got behind the lads, but unfortunately for us we make one mistake and its cost us a point. To give away the goal like we did was disappointing."

Ronnie was asked if he thought the fans had sent the prospective new owners a message, he replied with "Its
Got the hint??
up to them to decide, but I think the crowd have come down tonight and said what they feel, but at the end of the day its what the new owners think!"

"The last few days have been difficult, to see on TV that somebody else has got your job without anone saying a word to you is comical to be fair, Then to find out that he has'nt got the job and its all speculation, its up to the owners, they'll decide how to handle it."
