Ronnies Reaction - Crewe

Mullin scoring
Some of this I could have copy and pasted from a previous weeks reaction, but yesterday we did'nt play bad and totally dominated the firest half, but yet again the lads could'nt hold on to the lead.

Ronnie was'nt best pleased with the Referees showing though "I think there was 3 major incidents for me, definitely the lad should have gone for the foul, it was a foul on Polly for the goal which he doesn’t give, neither does the linesman, and the penalty on Paul Warne, so that’s 3 big decisions gone against us."

"I thought the lads played magnificent again, they gave their all but we lacked that cutting edge and that’s why we're down at the bottom. But we got into some wonderful positions today but didn’t put the knife in to kill them off. We always had a threat with Jamal he's caused them problems."

"The Ref made the decision, which was wrong. But you can't put it right and start again, but I can't fault the lads, they've their all and it’s like they've lost in the dressing room! But they can take a lot of pride out of that performance."

Did Pollitt have it?
"Polly's made a wonderful save just after they've equalized, he's fingertipped a couple over the bar, but their keeper was also busy"

"We had 16 players today, and sometimes when things are like that you get the type of performance that we got today. Our form away from home has been good over recent weeks, and we've always got that threat with Campbell-Ryce. All we need now is for Butler and Warney to find the back of the net."

"I said at half timer, when your one nil up they've always got a chance. We really didn’t want half time to come because we were comfortable, yeah they came at us a bit in the second half but overall it's been a wonderful performance and it’s a pity that the referee didn’t do his job."
Class Act! Wanted by Palace???

"The referee's made a cock up and cost us an extra two points, and there's nothing we can do about it, all the referee said to me was that he didn't think it was a free-kick. "
"I blame the linesman for not seeing it. But the game should have been over by then - that shouldn't really have hurt us as much as it did."

"Hopefully we should have some players back before the Forest game, which is another game which we need to win. It would be nice to get off the bottom of the league, but we can only put the performances in, if the officials don’t do their job then there's nothing we can do about that!"
