Ronnies Reaction - Cardiff City

Goals from Paul McLaren and Michael Proctor gave the Millers a point after coming back from 2 goals down.

Scored a cracker
Obviously Ronnie was happy with the fact the lads had the nerve to come back into the game, "It's a better feeling coming back from two down that it has been in the last two games when we have been two up." he told reporters.

"At 2-0 nil down everybody thinks its over, but one thing about the lads is that they didnt!, they kept going and plugging away and we got the little break with McLarens goal with it hitting the bar and then the keeper to go in. Then there was a bit of belief around the ground, everybody belived that we could go on. When we get to 2-2 we were the only side that was going to win the game."

"Coming from 2 down will do our confidence more good than our last 2 games where we've gone 2-0 up in both and only taken a point."

Played up front.
The Millers had 5 different players up front during the game, "We have a problem up front, anybody can see that. We started with Barker and Warney up front, then put Warney out wide and Scotty up front. Then we take the 2 strikers off and put Proc and Mullin up there. But Junior will be back available for us on Saturday and hopefully somebody else will be here."

"The crowd were excellent for the last 15 minutes, we'd been quiet and the was a somber kind of mood out there and we were waiting for somebody to light the touchpaper to get us going, at 2-0 I saw one or two people leaving, theyve gone home thinking that its another defeat for us. But the charictor and commitment was magnificent but that just doesnt win you games, we need that little bit of quality, craft and class unfortunately we didnt have it."

When asked the age old question of if anybodys coming in this week Ronnie said "Well I've been talking to a club over the last few days and hopefully
Tall Order.
somebody will be here on Tuesday ready for the weekend, we need it thats for sure. But we've started scoring goals and suddenly we're leaking them! But we're scoring and creating chances."

"But we have to win 15 games out of 28, and we haven't had one in 18 so we know how difficult it will be. The lads will keep going and there will be no throwing in of the towel and there's no talk of relegation here."
