Robins left annoyed by Grimsby battering

"I don't want to get into trouble so must watch what I say but I don't know what the ref has seen", Robbo told the media.

"He was adamant there was a shirt-pull by Jason Taylor and that he was 10 yards away. But when I asked why he gave a free-kick and then changed to a penalty, he couldn't answer me.

"I asked the linesman and he didn't know what it was for and neither did the fourth official. That killed the game. We created enough chances but we've made too many defensive mistakes.

"I thought we created enough chances to win two games but we were never going to score because of the way Grimsby defended. For us it was a tale of defensive mistakes and for the first goal we gave the lad too much space inside and it was a poor goal to concede.

"For the third we were trying to push out and get something from the game and you're always likely to concede when you do that.

"I don't want to be too harsh on my players but there was some kamikaze stuff from us out there and the goals we've conceded were gifts."

The Millers travel to Darlington tomorrow night and a repeat performance could see a similar spanking, hopefully the players will give the travelling fans something better to shout about.
