Robins delighted with five star Millers

A Reuben Reid hat-trick and a sparkling display of attacking football was only blemished by Andy Warrington's first goal conceded in five league games, but Robins, talking to themillers.co.uk, was a happy man.

"I was delighted with the performance", said the Millers boss.

"The supporters were asking me to do a dance and I nearly obliged! We worked for the chances we created and the goals that we scored. Chester came out fighting for their lives and they took the lead, and that goal gave them some confidence. I thought that might put us on the back foot for a while but we got the penalty and Reuben put it away nicely.

"Reuben was outstanding this evening. He has started to do the things that we have been working on and that we know that he is capable of. If he continues like that then there will be many more goals to come.

"Jamie Clarke was a little unfortunate tonight and if he had a little more confidence he might have had a couple. Drewe (Broughton) lead the line very well before we gave him a well deserved rest and then Ryan Taylor came on and made an important contribution."

Chester were unhapopy with the award of the first half penalty which saw the Millers equalise a 14th minute Kevin Ellison goal, but Robins explained: "I saw the handball and you cannot do that in the penalty area so the referee justly awarded us a penalty kick."

The gaffer concluded: "Drewe grabbed the ball but I wanted Reuben to take it, he took it away nicely and then there was only one winner."
