Robins - I've never felt so low

The Millers gaffer has seen his side ship nine goals on the road in the space of a week, and admitted there's nothing to give him any confidence at the moment and it's hard having to defend his players to the public.

Talking to www.themillers.co.uk, he said: "We got a goal back (after going three down) but it was scant consolation for a performance that was very poor.

"You can look at the first three goals and the lad Thompson murdered us so I had to make a change, it was unfortunate for Jamie Green in his first full game having to play against him but these were the cards we were dealt and it will stand him in good stead.

"The second half was dead and buried so we were just trying to keep the score down whilst we had one or two chances we didn't take they took every one in that first half.

"Andy Warrington made a couple of good saves to keep the score down otherwise it could have been ten.

"I've told the players that is unacceptable whatever is happening around the place and to capitulate like that is embarassing and it is as low as I have felt. When you cross that white line it should be back to football and that was something I was looking forward to.

"It's nothing to do with tactics and personnel it's about having the desire to fight and wanting the shirt. I was embarassed for our supporters who were singing my name and was embarassed to wave to them.

"It's been a bad, bad week and a shocking day."
