Robbo's Millers go marching on!

The Millers sealed a 3-1 win with ease as Drewe Broughton netted his first goal for the club and Robins' troops made it three giantkillings out of three in this year's Carling Cup to reach the last 16 for only the second time in 25 years.

After the game, Robbo spoke to the press and said: "I think after what they have done so far, the lads deserve a big draw and I'll settle for Man United at Old Trafford - it would be a fantastic day out.

"We haven't been very successful in the cups in recent times and I said I'd like a cup run this season, well, we've got one. The players have been magnificent throughout and this was an unbelievably disciplined performance.

"It is difficult singling anyone out because they all were excellent. They had to be because Southampton can play and they have players in areas where it is difficult to mark.

"But we stuck at it and I was pleased with some of the quality we displayed at times. We mixed it up and caused them problems. Southampton pulled back into it with an outstanding goal from Stern John but we kept our heads and extended the lead and saw it out", a delighted Robbo added.

"It is important to remain grounded though as we are still on minus points in the league and up against a very difficult Dagenham team on Saturday."
