Robbo thrilled with Leeds victory

Efforts from Ian Sharps, Mark Hudson, Drewe Broughton and Nick Fenton gave the Millers a 4-2 win as they added the West Yorkshire club to their three Championship scalps in the Carling Cup.

Robins, speaking to themillers.co.uk, said: "It was a great feeling to win but what I was particularly pleased with was the manner that we did it.

"We put in a really good disciplined performance which included some quality football and we deserved to go through.

"Although Leeds are not in the Championship they are a very good side with some quality players and even though they left one or two out it was still a very strong team, said Robins.

"The only slight disappointment that I have is that when we were 4-1 up we conceded a second which gave them a chance, but that was the only blemish on what was a superb performance.

"Andy Warrington got the man of the match award but it could have gone to anyone because they all played well. Some of the moves that we put together tonight were excellent and everyone played their part in a very good performance."

Robo continued: "We need to keep our feet firmly on the floor because we know that things can change quickly in football.

"Things are looking good at the moment but we know that if we take our eye off of matters then it can go wrong. We have Bournemouth on Saturday and we need to turn our attention immediately to that game and we will continue our preparations for that tomorrow.

"It looks like we have come through the game unscathed aside from one or two knocks which you expect from a tough derby game. I felt that it would benefit Danny Harrison if we gave him a couple of extra days to recover. We will talk with Danny and then make a decision about whether to include him for the game on Saturday."
