Robbo pleased with the three points

"It was an excellent game and we coped well with what Rochdale had to throw at us," said Robins after the 2-1 win talking to the clubs official site.

"Before we scored the first goal we could have been two or three in front. Adam Le Fondre was a threat all afternoon and Nicky Law was outstanding.

"Tom Pope has worked his socks off again and as a team we competed all over the park. In the second half I felt that we backed off a little but that is the only downside to the game.

"Today was the first time I had seen the pitch and I was shocked," he added after the state it was left in following the U2 gig on Thursday night.

"The top end of the pitch is fine but at the other end it is like a desert. At the end of the day you just have to live with it. It was the same for both sides but I am sure that the pitch will be in a better condition the next time we play here.

"We have only been able to get the pitch back in the last 12 hours so credit to Jim Davison our Groundsman and Don Valley who have been working round the clock to make it playable."
