Robbo - We had to grind out the result

Chris O'Grady's early goal saw the Millers move to within four points of top spot in League Two and despite making heavy weather of mid table City the boss was pretty pleased ahead of a trip to Peterborough on Tuesday night.

He told the media after the game: "It's a very important three points for us and they tested us all the way. It was a tough game and I'm glad we ground out a result but it was a scrappy affair.

"It's an open stadium and the wind was swirling which affected our game a bit and it was difficult to play any decent stuff and it was a bit bitty. We couldn't retain possession and could only put two or three passes together.

"We lost Graham Coughlan just before kick off to an ankle injury and Marc Joseph moved into the centre and did well alongside Ian Sharps and we dealt with things pretty comfortably.

"Tuesday night will be a very different game at Peterborough - we are now a few points infront of them and a good performance there is important for us. All the 19 games remaining are crucial ones."
