Robbo - The lads responded well

Last updated : 10 February 2008 By Deano
This was after the horrendous second half leg break to young Steve Brogan, which left boss Mark Robins in a somber mood after the final whistle.

Defender Paul Hurst accompanied Steve to hospital while the game was going on and Danny Harrison's cracking strike salvaged in truth an undeserved point.

But
speaking to themillers.co.uk Robins said: "Football is secondary at the moment following the injury to Steve. Our thoughts are with him, he is a 19 year-old lad who has had a magnificent season and we are all very, very disappointed for him.

"We are a close nit bunch of lads and after the injury they all responded magnificently, it can go either way after an incident like that but we did things the right way.

"I was proud of the way the lads fought back, as long as they give me 100% I am always proud and the lads that came on changed the game and took it to them.

"We just had to hang in there, we had mad it too easy for them in the first half but credit to them, Adrian Pettigrew was excellent on his debut against one of the quickest players in the league Lloyd Dyer.

"It's been a bitter sweet sort of day - but the players are ready for Stockport on Tuesday night - however at the moment I'm not really inerested in the football."
