Right things at the right time - Moore

The Millers gaffer was pleased to see his side get the two goal win at Plainmoor, after the match he spoke to BBC Radio Sheffield.

"To be fair it's one of those days when football goes out of the window, it's windy, well it was first half where it went the second who knows, it's like a summers day we just couldn't believe how its changed, full marks to them for hanging in there.

"Doesn't matter where you go there are no easy games, we know they were on a good run not having lost in nine, Port Vale hadn't lost in six, so we have had three away games now and won them all, so it sets it up nice now for the game on Tuesday, but we are taking nothing for granted, we have picked up the three points and that's what we came for."

On Warrington's saves at a crucial time in the game:

"That's what he's there for he's the best keeper at this level, the one that hits the bar if it hadn't he would have saved it, you need your keeper to make saves for you, there will be games where he doesn't get a touch, and let's hope there will be some of those games to come".

Asked about bringing Ryan Taylor in to replace Drewe Broughton Moore said:

"We thought about getting down the sides of the two tall centre half's who were lacking a bit of pace, problem is to get your strikers down the sides you've got to keep the ball, trouble is the first half there is no way you could get hold of the ball, everything was running through. The second half when the wind died down I thought we would get on the ball and create one or two chances, we didn't so that's why we brought Roberts on and you see one or two of the passes he's producing, a great ball to Fenton, on another day we want a striker there not Fenton, and that's going to be a goal.

When quized if Moore expects to start Roberts in the next few weeks Moore said:

"He's not come to sit on the bench that's for sure, he's got a bit of quality in his passing range, so yea were going to use him, that's why I wanted to have a look at him today, I thought we weren't getting on the ball, it got Laws into the game, he's playing centre midfield and some days you can't. They've had a good go Torquay fair do's to them, but we got the breaks at the right time, it's about time we got a bit of luck anyway."
