Happy with performance
"I've got nothing but praise for them today, I think they've been magnificent up until the attacking third, once we got in there we were found wanting, but we've had some great opportunities."

Ronnie was asked how he felt about the selection changes, pushing Paul Shaw up front, and bring Vernazza into Midfield at the expense of Proctor. He said: "I think it worked well, but we've changed it a bit late on to try and use Proctors pace. I think we played well, I wish we'd have played awful and won it, but we've played well and come away with nothing. In the last 15 minutes they didn't get out of their own half!".

Commenting on Paulo Vernazza: "I thought he did well, when he got on the ball he was good, he spread the ball about well. I thought him and Darren Garner did well in there".

"Its a pity we didn't win the game, there's lots of plus points come from the game, but now I need to go and find somebody who can put the ball in the back of the net but that's not so easy".

When asked about Phil Gilcrhist Ronnie said that he'd missed the game through ankle injury, and may be fit for Tuesday but probably wouldn't be risked. He then went on to say how he felt the Shaun Barker and Swailes partnership worked well, and stressed his anger at the referee's decision for the penalty.

"I thought Shaun Barker and Swailes have done well today, and if the referee does not make that ridiculous decision, then we come away form here today with at least a point".

Looking forward to Tuesdays game Ronnie indicated that there would be no major changes to the squad: "There'll be no major changes, I'm not going to swap and change to give players games, we want to win the game and go as far as we can".
