Not good enough - Robbo

Speaking at the post match press conference after seeing his team lose their 2nd league game of the season, Robins was clearly unhappy with his team.

"We decided not to turn up for the second half, it was inept, it was dissapointing and now back to the drawing board, we've got a game on Tuesday which becomes really really important again."

"There's not a lot I can say to defend those today in the 2nd half performance, We've had a good following down from Rotherham today and it must have been a very very dissapointing 2nd half to watch. I thought 1st half we controlled it, we dominated, we created chances but then again didn't put them in the back of the net."

"It was very difficult to do anything to change it when it's like that because we've just got to get people closer to the ball. The defending for the first goal was poor! We tried to step up and play offside, we don't do that! We've got to get closer to people and put them under pressure and they did that a lot better than us in the second half."

"There's been a bit of honesty in the dressing rrom and we'll go back to the drawing board on Monday. I thought that we could come here and play and pass the ball, in the first half we proved we could do that."

"I thought it was an ecouraging debut from Ryan Cresswell, I thought he was unlucky to get booked early on and he was doing a decent job there. We lost Danny Harrison on Thursday with a tweeked knee ligament which just needed to rejig things, Tongy's gone in there and done ok 1st half but it's been difficult for him, it just shows that we're a little bit light in there. I brought Liam King on to try and shore things up because they were running riot."

"The penalty was a dissapointment but really it just covered what we were trying to do, we were poor 2nd half and theres no getting away from it!"

"I thought we were ok defensively and we got pulled about a lot today, we've got to be better. We know exactly what we need to do, it's mindsets we've spoken about it in there and people wanting to do those ugly things in there. Well not even ugly things, its things that you expect from a team, we stand off and let them play and they're in our faces, we've got to be more like that and they thoroughly deserved thier win today."

Looking to the injury front, Robbo said;"Marc Joseph has a virus and will be out for a little while until we can get to the bottom of it, Mark Hudsons just started training so we have a little bit of light at the end of that tunnel from that angle. We look forward to him coming back in but he's still a bit away from playing in a first team obviously, we could do with him back in as soon as possible."

"We now look to the Macclesfield game and try and turn our fortunes round, I've said it before, we can't let this performance turn our season, we've had that for the last 2 seasons and I've said that to the players, we have to make sure we turn our form around quickly."

Asked if Robins now expected a performance on Tuesday to make up for todays showing; "I demand a performance every game and second half today we didn't get it so we need to turn that around. I'm not going to dwell on it because its gone."

"Obviously you lads (Media) want an inquest and want to know what the thoughts are but we cant dwell on it, we've just got to put it down to experience and get onto the next one."

"If you dwell on that too much then it affects you going forward so we'll quickly put it behind us and get on with the next one but we can't have a performance like the second half today."
