Mistakes cost us - Robbo

Speaking to the clubs official website, Robins blamed early lapses for the defeat.

"It was an entertaining match for the neutral but a couple of mistakes cost us dearly. We were on top for the first 20 minutes and if Chris O'Grady's effort had gone in instead of hitting the post then it would have been a different story. Chances came to us that we really should be sticking away but it is difficult to be too critical because we gave 100 per cent again.

"We don't want the tag of nearly men. That's our concern. Credit to the lads, they kept going to the end but they were feeling down in the dressing room afterwards, and rightly so.

"Bradford had electric pace on the flanks but we should have dealt with that and the positioning of our full-backs needed to be better.

"We tried to go forward and take the game to them and we did that. Chris O'Grady and an excellent game, it was the best he'd played for a little while and Ryan Taylor took his goal well.

"We tried to take the game to them but Bradford came back at us on the counter attack. They really stuck the knife in when we broke forward. The first two goals decided the game."
