Alan Knill
Knilly gave his post-match thoughts to Radio Sheffield, "The game was exactly how we thought it was going to be, scrappy and hectic, with both teams wanting to win but with both not wanting to lose!. Sometimes the quality of the football was'nt great but we'll take the positives and its no goals against and thats what we're looking at."

"we're trying to build from the back and a solid foundation, there's more work that we're going to do on the training ground, it will get better."

"I'd like to think we were pretty organised, and we was'nt going to get done on the counter, which is the most dangerous as when your attacking thats when your most vunerable so that was what we tried to work on."

"We got into some decent positions, and the final bit the quality wasnt quite there today, but we'll work on it and try to get it better."

Gilly
"Gilly has taken the role of captian really well, and he played well, but i have to say I thought it was a great team performance. As long as Gilly is in the team I will assume that he is captain, he tells the lads what we're doing. It's only early yet but we want to involve the captain more!"

When asked about the spat from Darran Garner, Knilly played it down by saying "I took Daz off, he came off and shook my hand, I told him to go have a bath and thats about it."

"The reception we got was good, we walked out and everybody clapped so thats good, as for the match it's murder, you scream and shout but there's nobody to listen! It is really difficult but hopefully I'll get better at it and the players will take notice, but I really enjoyed it."

"It was important for us that if we could not win, not to lose. I would have liked all three points, but we'll take one point. The massive thing for us was keeping a clean sheet, I cannot remember the last time we did that."

Robbo
Mark Robins told Radio Sheffield, "I think the lads gave everything they had and that's all you can ask for, It would have been nice to have taken the three points and we were a bit unfortunate with Procter having a good effort saved, but we didnt get up and threaten their goal too many times, but they gave their all and thats all we ask for."

"The lads are upbeat, they know the situation we're in but we have to keep the heads and keep beleving we can turn things around and get some wins."
