Lack of craft in the final third - Moore

Last updated : 06 November 2010 By Deano

The Millers will replay at Kit Kat Crescent on Wednesday 17th November after the nil nil draw, but Moore said he was encouraged by some play on the day.

Speaking to the press, he said afterwards: "It was a tight game and that is what we were expecting.

"People think that just because you are playing a Conference side you are going to walk all over them but it just doesn't happen like that because York are a strong side. We huffed and puffed but were left lacking in the final third so we need to improve around that area.

"We kept the ball well enough and some of the passing was good but we just needed the end product," he added.

"It was a typical cup game. It was tight, played in a good spirit but we just didn't get the breaks on the day. We just lacked that little bit of belief or spark around their penalty area.

"I have a list of targets and we have knocked on one or two doors," continued Ronnie.

"At this present time nothing will develop today but with a little bit of luck something might happen next week. We have spoken to clubs in the Championship and Premier League about some young players with pace, so we will wait and see what happens."
