At the post match press conference, Knill gave an honest appraisal of the game, "It's a great result and a great second half. First half I thought we were abysmal.. and we had a few words at half time obviously, and second half we got a better performance."

"We struggled with their shape, they were 4-3-3 and we couldnt get the end players in their end of the pitch. We had to make a quick decision and to be honest we made the decision before they scored their goal."

"At half time we brought Keano on and we just played with more energy and more pace. Let their defenders deal with the ball instead of ours! It was a good lession for us today, you can't always play the way you want to play and if you cant then the best way to get around it is to put the ball in their half and let them deal with it and not us."

"3 Goals, 1 from a set peice and 2 from 2 balls stright up, thats how you play football when you cant always have it your own way."

Asked about the fracas late in the second half, Knill said; "In the words of Arsene Wenger, I didnt see much of it. I saw the first tackle which I thought was a bad one. Then I dont know. I asked the referee who I thought he handled it well, he said the 2 that got involved - Rocastle for them and Sharps for us, he booked. I don't really want bookings for that sort of thing but its gone now."

Scott Wiseman was subbed at halftime for Michael Keane, "Scott's ok, he's just settling in. We asked him to play wide right which really isnt his position, he is really a full back. We wanted Richie and Scotty narrower to stop their 3 in the middle from getting the ball, we couldnt get it so I just made a decision to bring Scott off and put Keano on."

"When Keano went on the first thing he does is a tackle, we didnt do any in the first half, it just lifts the crowd and the players and they start to think a bit more."

Asked if he felt the Millers were building up some winning momentum, "Three wins on the trot says they are!!" Knill replied with before going on to say, "Hopefully we can take it on to Bradford, I dont know the last time we won 3 on the trot. I dont know when it was but its fantastic. For us to lose at home in the cup or whatever you dont want it. We did really well last year with out home form, so for us to lose today would have been really dissapointing."

"Full credit to the players, they were fantastic in the second half, they took on everything that was said and the end result 3-1 is a great win."

Knill was asked for his thoughts on the crowd of just 3065, "I can't do anything about that, all I can do is put out a team to compete on the pitch and if people want to come then they come and go home happy usually at home and if they dont then its their choice. All I do is put a team that competes."

"Those that have been here tonight will be delighted with a 3-1 win and those that were here on Saturday will be the same" Knill finished with.
