Knill far from happy at home defeat

Speaking at the post match press conference, he explained: "I was disappointed with the performance, we were playing at home and never seemed to pass the ball.

"We didn't create enough chances in the game but saying that neither did they, I thought it was a game that would end 0-0 but we conceded a poor goal from a long throw in and you just can't concede goals like that.

"I really thought we would get back into the game in the second half as we were the only team going towards the goal and they seemed to be sitting back."

Eugen Bopp was replaced at half time, and Alan continued: "He's been out the last few weeks with illness and said he just couldn't manage it, to get up and down the pitch. That's what Boppy's about, he's all energy.

"We have technical players and they need to work with the ball and when we've been at our best that's what we do.

"I thought Hendo looked bright but in the second half we just booted it and that's not his game, we hear the fans frustration - they are entitled to their opinion as they pay good money."

The Millers have a tough trip to improving Millwall next week in the hope of getting back on track after a miserable run of one victory in 12 matches.
