Knill - It was an excellent comeback

Talking to www.themillers.co.uk, he explained: "It was a excellent comeback, I was disappointed that we did not play like that from the start.

"We lost a few players, confidence was not as high as it should be, but great credit to the players. We have a team of young athletes and the way we play the best is when we are going forward, and in the second half we did that better.

"At 2-0 down, I still thought that we could always score.I look at what we have got in the team and there are always goals there. It was a very good battling effort considering what squad we had left.

"I found out about Eugen Bopp at about 10 o'clock this morning. Gregor did everything in training yesterday and then he tweaked something.I did not really want to play Pablo Mills but in the end I was left with no choice, we kept asking Pablo if he was ok, and he said that he wanted to stay on, in the end we had to take him off, but Liam King came on and did very well.

"We worked with Pablo yesterday and he said that he wanted to play, he did fantastic just to get through the 67 minutes that he played. It shows the fight that we have, especially under the circumstances that we are going through at the moment.

"Lee Williamson is not quite right but he came on and when you are 2-0 down, we always think that there is a goal in Lee, so we went three up front and went for it.

"I did not see too much of Wills first goal. For three weeks he has struggled to score, even in training, then all of sudden with a bit of encouragement he has started to improve, and he is looking easier in front of goal. His two goals today were fantastic.

"Will has got great technique, he smashes it into the top corner, it was a great finish. We started him wide left, we had no-one else but we spoke to Will and asked him to do a job for us and he did that.

"It was a big result for us, it moves us out of the bottom four and even though it was not three points, the fact that we did not lose was massive. The good thing is that the supporters go home with a little something to cheer about and it shows that we are fighting. We are not happy to lose and we showed that again toady by coming back from two goals down.

"Stephen Brogan came to us as a left back, but I converted him to a midfield player. He has been incredibly patient, everyday he comes to training and usually he is the best player.

"He has been unfortunate because the midfield players we have here have all done well, so today I was very pleased for him."
