It's a big win - Steve

"It's a big victory against a super team arent they? I think theyre terrific in a number of areas but we've put in a terrific away performance."

"It's a bit of a disappointment there wasnt a second yellow for the decision when he gave the penalty, but apart from that I think the referee's had a strong game. He's had to be strong because its been 22 very committed sides as London Road is a tough place to come and I'm pleased to come away with 3 points."

"Over the 90 minutes we deserved our win, the biggest chance of the game came in the second half, we can look at it in 2 ways, does Nicky miss a massive chance? Yes he doe's, and does thier keeper keep them in the game? Yes he does, it's a terrific save and he's done that over the last 2 or 3 seasons."

"We've had a lot of effort and committment but we don't gloat, it's just another 3 points on the road, we go away and as I say, it's really tough to be in the play offs and we're still fighting to be in them. Again some managers in midweek doubting us again and let them continue to doubt and we'll just work hard and see where it takes us." "We've had a fantasic following today, they've really got behind the team and they deserve enormous credit."

Speaking of Nicky Adams chance in the second half; "There were 5 one or two touch passes in the build up and he's through, The quality of the football was outstanding, I think he just got caught in 2 minds, I thought he was terrific today, he's popped up on the left and then the right, he came from Crawley with a big reputation and price and we were patient putting him in the team but he's in there and working hard, but he'll have to work that hard every week because that team works hard every week. We'll win and lose games but teams will never beat us for effort."

"I'm pleased for Craig Morgan and Lee Frecklington, the center half partnership had to be good today as they were facing a player thats scored 25/26 goals today. We would love the priviladge to be buying strikers at 1.2 million, but you can understand why he cost that amount of money. However the young man that probably cost 4 bob and a packet of chips alongside him, I though he was terrific as well so its no just about the price of a transfer fee, its about working hard. He gave our centre halfs a tough day today but they stood up strong and theyve done a good job today."

"Andy Dibble's been workign really hard with the goalkeepers, he's brought out the best form in Adam and Shearers behind him and he's been terrific in the reserves recenlty and he's pushing Adam every step of the way and Adam knows that. But when he makes a save like that and you win 1-0 when he walks in the dressing room he'll get a little kiss from me, not a big kiss."

Steve looked forward to Tuesday nights game against 2nd placed Brentford who currently sit 10 points ahead of the Millers.

"It's a massive game, Brentford have got a fantastic squad of players and a good manager who's taken over there. If we can be in the game with them with 15-20 minutes to go in the New York Stadium at capacity behind us then terrific."

"This is a real tough week for us, having to come to London Road and then face Brentford and then Bristol City which is another huge club who have been signing players this week as if they have been going out of fashion."

"It's just one game at a time for us, our objective is to finish in the play-off group. We've got 9 games left and we're fighting desperately to do it, not for one second will I let a player or the chairman speak about the play-offs because nothing is acheived until you've acheived it!."

"We'll keep working hard, we'll keep our focus and we'll be back on the training field tomorrow and we'll work hard in preparation for Tuesday."
