After Saturdays loss at home to Port Vale, In a brief selection of the after match comments Moore blamed his defence and bemoaned the lack of ability to convert chances at Aldershot.

"That was undeserved and no way was it a 3-0 game," said Moore in the Star.

"We started well, gifted them a goal in their first attack and then we pinned them back so that they hardly got out of their own half in the second half.

"Then they break away late on, we've let their lad through all too easily and it's all over. It's a cruel game.

"Apart from the individual errors on the first two goals, I can't fault them for the way we played, their keeper made some great saves. The top three is a little bit further away and the play-off race is getting tighter with each game."
