Despite the inability to make chances pay, Harford, speaking to BBCRadio Sheffield, was delighted with the performance of the team but rued the lack of finishing. "I’m disappointed with the result as the game could have been over by half time. I think we had about 95% of the game apart from maybe the last ten minutes where they came in to the game and the Windass turned up and got a header. So I’m disappointed with the result but in no way am I disappointed with any of the players, anyone’s performance; I thought it was a thoroughly good performance and the result looked a bit like day light robbery to be honest."

Deon Burton
First goal of the season for Burton

Deon Burton finally grabbed his first Rotherham goal and Harford was happy with both him and Martin Butler and believes there is hope for the future. "It’s good to create chances and it’s good to have all that possession but that’s why strikers are so important to teams, they win you games. I thought the performance of our two strikers today was very good, they just need to start getting on the end of things and I am sure they will eventually. There’s enough in there for them to go after, at the minute there’s balls flying all over the box."
