Harford 'More Than Happy' as Millers move 4th

Talking to Radio Sheffield after the game Mick said, "I'm more than happy with that, it was a difficult game today, we saw the other side of the Rotherham team today where we had to defend a lot of corners, throw-in's and set peices, and some of that defending was immense."

"First half we kept battling away, I think second half the game setlled down a bit and we started to play a decent bit of football and deserved the victory. Our set-peices are a danger, Deon's had 2 or 3 good chances and thier keepers made some blinding saves. But thts 3 away games now and we've kept 3 clean sheets, if you keep doing that away from home you've got a great chance.."

"I take my hat off to the whole of the team for the defending, when your up against set-peices and long throws you have to bring your strikers back to mark the centre halfs, I can't ask anymore from them defensively."

The Millers goal is surrounded in controversy with people saying there was more than a hint of handball, "It was a long kick from the keeper and Deon's stole in the back of him, there was a hand in the air, but it looks like he's took it on his shoulder and chest and finished it well. You get those breaks, somedays it goes for you, somedays you do'nt, today it went for us."

"Deon and Martin are very established strikers and they know each others game. They're both simlar but they've both got an eye for goal, I'm delighted with the contribution they've both made today."

Michael Keane went off injured, "Michael got a whack on the hip, he should be ok for the weekend. We've had 2 games in 3 days and we'll give the players a little bit of a rest and start again later in the week."

Defender Colin Murdock missed the game, reportedly with compassionate leave so Phil Gilchrist came in and also did well, "I thought all of the back four was excellent, what was thrown at them they dealt with it. Shaun Barker and Gilly dealt with a lot of ariel balls today. Gilly did tremendously well."
