Harford: First Half Cost Us

Harford was particularly disappointed at the start his team made and was left in no doubt that it had cost them a place in round three.

Talking to BBC Radio Sheffield, Harford said: "I thought the game was lost in the first half, we didn’t start the game particularly well. We wanted to start at a high tempo but we didn’t play in behind them and they dealt with us easily in the first half and the two goals killed us. We asked them to get an early goal in the second half and make a contest of it and I thought possession wise we were probably the better team but we never really hurt them. First half we were very average and the second half we improved and knocked on the door but just couldn’t get an answer."
Harford
Disappointed

The Millers could not repeat a victory of the self proclaimed 'biggest club in Yorskhire' and Harford was left to rue the defeat. "It’s a major blow to go out, not just for financial reasons but for I wanted to be in the hat for the next round and that’s the last thing I said to the players before they went out and we’re not so it’s very disappointing."
