"We're delighted to come away with a point, we came against a very good Carlisle team today, probably the best team we've played this year and to come here and get a point is tremendous from us."
Knill spoke about the second half where Carlisle were well on top, "They had the wind and we know what was going to happen, it was more or less an onslaught. But the lads dug in, you cant win every week some games you just have to dig in there and make sure you dont lose and thats what we did today."
Knill then gave his views on the three incidents, asked if the Millers should have been awarded a penalty early on, "I think so, I think Ritchie got in and hes just gone across and its hit the lads hand. I thought its a pen but we're away from home and you dont really get them away from home, I think if we was at home we would have had it."
Then it was Carlisle's turn to have a penalty turned down for what looked like a Rotherham player handballing on the line, "I really didnt see it, but you hear the crowd, the lads shot and its hit somebody and theyre all appealling but I didnt really see it. It must have been close because all the grouund was up appealling, but the referee didnt give it."
"I thought the referee was particulary good first half, because they're pretty ferocious the crowd here and he stood up to it really well."

Knill then went on to praise Delroy Facey's game, "Since hes's come back in the team, each game hes got better and hes looking powerful and strong. I'm sure the goal will help is confidence no end, I'm just dissapointed for him that he couldnt tuck that one away at the end, it just came a little too high and he just couldnt get over it."
"His overall game is good and getting better, he's a big player for us and especially in games like this you need somebody like Delroy who is great in their box and good in ours, he's getting better but I'm sure he will say theres more to come."
As usual, Alan then thanked the 500 fans that followed the Millers, "I would like to say a really big thank you to our fans, they were brilliant today and that counts for a lot for me and the players and I hope we see them all again to cheer us on at Peterborough next week."
