He classed the Millers defending as schoolboy, "It's not as if it was great football! It was just a stright ball over the top and it's caused us problems three times. If you dont deal with it then its going to cost you goals."
Before the game Knill admitted that he thought that this was the game where he would be celebrating his first win in charge of the team. "Gillingham are down there and had only won one away before today, so you feel you have a chance, but our defending let us down."
However, Knill is happy with the front partnership of Butler and Hoskins, "It was probably the best theyve been today, there was a lot of interplay between the two, Butts held it up and Will's movement was good."

"We're bottom of the league and the confidence is bound to be low, but if you take the three goals out and we played ok. But you can't take those goals out and you can't defend like we defended today!. "
The Millers made a bright start to the match, which Knill felt that should have brought reward, "We came out of the traps, passed the ball well but the goal knocked us back, second half it was the same, we get a goal and at one all you think this is it, lets take it on but they put a ball stright down the middle and it puts them 2-1 up and you can just see the players drop, but what can you do?"
