Game of two halves for Millers

Daniel Nardiello's second half brace looked to be pushimg the Millers towards all three points, but they had to settle for a 2-2 draw after the home side bagged a late equaliser.

Evans was generally pleased overall but the teams sluggish start to the match cost his side.

He told the press afterwards "I thought the first 20 minutes, we were poor, we hardly got off the coach I don’t think, but after that we controlled the remainder of the first-half and we were delighted there was only one goal in It because the first 20 minutes, we were all at sea. But, we take the late goal on the chin, and go forward as being better.

“The reaction they gave second half was tremendous, and we should look at a great individual in Nardiello who got on the end of two terrific deliveries. With Nards you tell him straight, which I did and we got a reaction because I thought his movement second-half was outstanding. We had to take him off because he was running on empty with nothing left to give.

"He wasn’t the only one we had some hard words for, the first part was unacceptable as people have paid hard-earned money to come down here,” he added.

Kayode Odejayi missed a late chance to win it with a point blank header, and Evans added "I don't know how he hasn't stuck it in the net."
