First half was unacceptable - Moore

Moore was annoyed at the way his team started, and defended for the hosts two goals in the 2-1 defeat.

He explained to the media afterwards: "The way we came out of the blocks in the first half was unacceptable.

"I thought we were lucky to come in at half time at 1-0 because we didn't get started. To be fair in the second half we got about them but it was just disappointing that we didn't take the opportunities.

"We raised our game and upped the tempo and had enough chances to win but you cannot defend the way we did. They haven't got a left footed player in the team but we showed him inside on his right foot, he crossed the ball and they score."

The Millers also had two goals ruled out after Josh Walker's cracking equaliser from 25 yards, and Moore couldn't understand, like most of the crowd, why Craig McAllister's goal was deemed offside after Adam Le Fondre was flagged when the ball bounced off two home defenders.

Moore added: "I genuinely thought that the referee was going to overrule the linesman. I haven't spoke to him about the decision. The fourth official said something about them both being offside in the first phase of play.

"That isn't an excuse we had the opportunities to take the lead, and if we take the lead we win the game."
