Fantastic performance - Moore

Moore spoke to Radio Sheffield after his team's one nil win over Barnet at the Underhill Stadium, putt his team in a strong position for the playoffs, Moore told the press:

"It was a great win, I think we bossed it really.

"We just sat deep late on that was the worry for us.
"They've thrown caution to the wind, i think they had six attackers at one time but if we'd been a bit more ruthless when we attacked we could have put the game to bed.

"I thought it was a fantastic performance just what we needed, Warrington's not had a save to make and Kevin Ellison was back to his best, he was magnificent today, his goal was a good goal, he has gone past people, and i thought he was excellent today".

Barnet were not to happy about the Millers goal, Ronnie explained: "They were complaining that one of our lads was in front of the keeper, and as he has hit it he has come out, but it's nonsense really it's a goal there is no doubt about that.

"I was disappointed in there manager really, when Walker has gone down injured, Warrington's thrown the ball out, and he is saying don't give it them back, so it was nice to stick the Knife in the end.

"Walker went down after a tackle from behind, and he has banged a couple of nerves in his leg and it went numb, so there was no way he could carry on, the injury does not look like it will be anything long term.

"I was pleased how we defended when we had to, we did sit a little bit deep towards the end, but it's a fantastic performance that puts us in a good position".

Barnet were looking for a point from the game to secure their position in the league, which could be seen with how they lined up after the goal, Moore saying:

"They threw caution to the wind, when a team plays four up front with two sat just behind them, you know you're going to be under some pressure ".

Moore is now hoping the Millers can go on to finish as high as they can in the playoff positions. "We just have to close our hand on it, we want to finish strongly, we can't get the third spot, so we would like to get the fourth and hopefully a Wembley appearance.

"The clean sheets are a big thing, and we are going to give someone a good hiding before the end of the season, I'd just like us to get three or four goals in a match".

Asked about Bournemouth getting the third place and promotion Moore said: "It's a tremendous achievement when you look at the money problems they have had", but let's hope we can join them".
