Excellent Team Performance Says Knill

Despite the home side, whose immediate future was only secured on Thursday after a takeover deal, taking a two goal lead in to the break, Knill wasn't happy with the first half performance. Talking to www.themillers.co.uk, Knill said "I was a bit worried at half time even though we went in at 2-0 because I thought we were pretty poor. Last week I said we have to be at our best to win. But in the second half for 25 minutes we were outstanding and it was an excellent team performance by everybody."

Knill was also delighted at the team's bouncebackability after their 4-1 defeat at Huddersfield Town last week and believes his team show good strength: "That was a brilliant end to the week. Before the game I talk about the opponents and then about us and what I have said is that we usually bounce back after a defeat and we did that today. We could have had more but City are a strong powerful team and you could see why they had gone six games unbeaten, we had to deal with that. The back four and the keeper were excellent."
Best Game

The two goalscorers were Sheffield United past and present and Knill reserved special praise for Jonathan Forte and Paul Shaw. "Straight away he (Shaw) showed great feet and movement to set up a great goal. He showed understanding with Jonathan Forte. He doesn't think he has played previously as well as he can but straight away today he looked determined to show what he can do - he was the difference in the game. It was Forte's best game for us and his second goal was a great one, it was probably as good as you can see with passing movement and a clinical finish."
