The gaffer gave his reaction to the Millers JPT exit and also outlined some injury concerns, plus progress on Nicky Hunt and Dale Tonge ahead of the weekend trip to Port Vale.
He said to the clubs official website: "It wasn’t good enough was it, but you’ve got to look at the context of the play. We’ve made five changes to save legs but we’ve dominated the second half.
“We’re not sure if Mark Bradley has strained the fibres of a hamstring or whether it’s just cramp and Kari Arnason is away for Saturday so we’ve got some defensive worries, but we’ve had to cope with key players missing since the start of the season and hopefully it will balance itself out.
“Craig Morgan needs some game time, we’ve worked him really hard over the last couple of days and he’s playing in the reserves against Gateshead tomorrow along with Dale Tonge and Nicky Hunt so that’s good news.
“I would be surprised if one of them wasn’t available for Saturday and Nicky Hunt has been flying in training over the last two or three days.”
