Evan's frustraded with Wednesday point

Evans told the clubs official website themillers.co.uk ;“I think my view of the game is the same as everyone else in the ground, we’ve taken a point but should have had all three. We’ve had the best chance in the game, we’ve got some great opportunities and at the end of the first half it was total dominance. But, we’ve come to a very proud football club with a fantastic home support who roared them on in the last few minutes. These derbies are fantastic and it’s like Christmas day waking up and the great fans who made the trip will go away like me thinking it should have been all three.”

After 2 3-0 defeats on the trot, Steve was more please with his teams showing today; “It was us today, We had high energy, we moved the ball quickly, we competed for every challenge and individually the players get told there’s a standard here and they have to meet it or they go. I lead by example with working hard it’s not just a threat and we’ve worked hard as a group today."

“We found a little chink in their defensive set plays and we worked on that. Paul Green put two of them away in training yesterday and Lee Frecklington another so when we saw him arrive unmarked we expected it to hit the back of the net, but these things happen. I've just left Greeny in the dressing room, and he was really disappointed he doesn’t hit the target."
