Enough chances to win - Knill

"I suppose in the end you would take a point, but we had enough chances to win three games. But the most positive thing is that I thought we were excellent again, honestly I thought we were excellent again against a tough team."

"To come back from 1-0 and the way we do, we had to change it, we lose a couple of players and change it. The players that you put on the pitch score you the equiliser and I have to say again the players have been fantastic."

"We said at half time, going in one nil down after being the most dominant team that Scunthorpe will have played against for a long time, I don't think they had a kick first half."

"Go on 1-0 and its tough in the dressing room, you have to pick them back up and get the belief going again. I thought 2nd half we came out and take the game to them and definately deserved to get the equiliser and probably deserved to get more out of the game."

Asked wether he thought the equiliser was going to come after the Millers had missed some great chances, Knill said: "Yeah I did, I know we can score, our games have shown we can score every week. All you have to do is keep patient and keep knocking on the door - Theres a cliche for you! Keep knocking on that door and the chances will come."

"We had chances and had chances and you think sooner or later it's gunna come. To be fair it was a great goal, Andy does great, gets round the back and puts a great ball in and Will from right wing gets across and taps it in."

Both the players involved in the goal had not seen too much first team action recently, "If you look at our team we're in pretty good form, it's hard to get in it at the moment, but all they've done is tell me aware that they're ready to play in the next game." Knill said.

Knill then moved onto Stephen Quinn, who was injured by the Scunthorpe thugs today, "I thought it was a shocking tackle. Can I say that??. But he's going to have to get used to that because hes such a good player, but people will put him down, if you stop Quinn you try to stop the team. First couple of minutes there was a few tackles on him and the last one was a pretty poor tackle somewhere on his thigh and in the end we had to bring him off."

"It was a poor tackle, Quinn never stays down, he's tough. It must have been a poor tackle to keep him down."

Fantastic..
Knill then praised the youngster who played his last game of his three month loan at Millmoor today, "He deserved the ovation, he's come here and lit the place up, hes enthusiastic all the time. He's got a typical Irish wit about him and we've really enjoyed having him and we're sorry to see him go. But thats how it is and we'll get on with it like we did after Quinny went off."

Asked about the relegation scrap which now see's the Millers just 2 points above the zone, "I've always thought that its going to go to the last game, I don't want it to but thats how close it is. It will probably go to the last game at the top as well. We have to keep the belief but we're in a postition that 3 underneath us would like to be in."

"It's upto us, we go to Colchester next week, we played well at Swansea and we think we can go anywhere and play pretty well so we'll take that."
