Dressing room remains focused, says Evans

Lee Frecklington's late penalty and Kieran Agard's breakaway goal gave the Millers a vital win to take them into the automatic promotion spots, but Evans insisted afterwards his players weren't getting carried away.

He told the official website: “We’ve come to a big football club for this level. The atmosphere was incredible, but we handled that and took three points ahead of a tough trip to Plymouth on Saturday.

“Fans travelled here in big numbers for us on a Tuesday night when money is hard to come by and I’ve seen the spirit in them. We said it would take a squad effort with positivity and I’ve just come out of a dressing room that wasn’t bouncing, it was just job done. It means a lot less if we don’t get three points down at Plymouth.”

He added: “I think Bradford shaded it in the first-half territorially, but in the second-half we defended well and counter-attacked, something we’ve talked about doing.

"We got on the ball more and got at them with pace. Most of all we displayed what we did against Exeter and an excellent Fleetwood side.
Lee Frecklington is a superb professional and has standards that are so high and it his quality showed in a pressure situation."
