Difference between sides O'Grady - Moore

After the Millers went down to a 4-0 defeat to league leaders Rochdale Moore spoke to the Official site saying:

"We started so well and there were times in the game when we played some really good stuff.

"We cannot defend the way we defended. With their first attack Dagnall has just peeled off and put the ball in the back of the net. We defended too deep so the midfielder's cannot get on the ball but I think tonight the difference between both sides was O'Grady.

"We know what he is like, we know that he wants to lean in so you need to keep him at arms length, but he has bossed it and made our back four drop deep. He is someone we have been lacking, someone with the knowledge to hold the ball up and bring others into play."

Ian Sharps limped off in the first half to be replaced by Jamie Green, and Moore is unlikely to have his centre back for Saturday's home game with Bradford.

"I am not going to use Ian as an excuse," Moore added.

"He is someone you can miss but he didn't start the game particularly well but I think the injury was part of the reason for that. I wouldn't think he will be fit, it will be a bonus if he is fit in time but we will have a look at it tomorrow."
