Deserved win and the crowd backed us - Moore

Speaking to the media after the penalty success by Adam Le Fondre gave his men the win in a game with saw three red cards and Andy Warrington save a spot kick from the visitors themselves, Moore was pretty content.

"We deserved to win the game, we got a little lucky with the penalty save but it was a great save by Andy Warrington after a silly tackle in the box," said a delighted Ronnie.

"Then Alfie shows a great piece of skill in the box and it was a penalty, I thought he should have had another penalty after that, but it was also pleasing to keep a clean sheet.

"We really earned the three points tonight. The result means we are five points in front of Northampton instead of being behind them in the table. We limited them to very few chances, worked hard, were determined and we got a break tonight and we took it.

"The pleasing thing for me was the crowd," he added. "They got behind us which was great because you don't really know what to expect after what happened on Saturday."
