Speaking at the post match press conference, a relieved Mark Robins looked back at the match and happy with the victory.

"In the terms of possession, the way we played and the chances we created, we should have won more comfortably without a doubt but they did make it difficult for us in the second half and it was disappointing to concede the late goals but I'm not going to dwell on that."

"Three points is three points and nobody plays any easy games in any league and you expect spells to come under pressure. Once or twice we put ourselves under a bit of pressure but to be fair they've worked thier socks off."

"We have a group of players that has a load of spirit, have plenty of ability which they showed at times in the game and we started to pass the ball a bit better and hopefully that will give them belief to carry on passing it because when they did it they looked a good side."

"I thought we were good value for the 3-0 lead, and then they came into the game but I'm not dwelling on that, I think it was a decent performance overall and great to get back to winning ways."

"It gives us another dimension to our game when the lads start passing it, it makes plenty of space for us and we made it hard for them and forced them into changing into 4-5-1 which they did succesfully against MK Dons in midweek."

"With the pace theyve got in the side Mansfield were always going to be a threat with players like Michael Boulding and Simon Brown wide, when they brought McAliskey on it just gave them an extra dimension and he caused problems for us in the box and we just dropped deeper and deeper, which is something we've got to work on."

"I'm just happy with the three points and thought they were thoroughly deserved."

"Marc Newsham was excellent, his performances in the reserves have justified his start today. As long as he continues to cause problems like that for the opposition then the shirts his to keep. I was really really pleased with his contribution today because he made us tick and look like a decent passing team which we are. The strikers contributed massively into getting the three nil lead."

"I changed it slightly by bringing Tom Cahill on, he deserved the chance of a run out today. I felt that the time was right to give him a run. He was unfortunate with the goal but once or twice he showed that he was a little niave still, but he's going to be a good player for "

Looking towards Tuesday nights JPT game against Grimsby Town, Robbo insisted; "It's important to win! Without a doubt"

"We've got a great spirit here and that was epitamised by Marc Joseph who has been in hospital on a drip, he's discharged himself today from hospital and he's came to watch the match and then hes gone back into hospital to get back on his drip to get him back to full health."

"That empitamises the team spirit and as long as you've got that and lads that give 100%, your going to make mistakes but we just need to make sure we keep them to a minimum."

"Marc's had some grapes and everything, but it's good to see him back on his feet, because he was ill, he's played with this illness and we knew there was something wrong but we couldn't put the finger on it,nd at least they've got to the bottom of it now."

"It's been a deep seated kidney infection, he's been under the weather since he came in back in July. He had treatment for it, but its just taken a hold of him and he was just losing weight. We were worried for him but just greatful they've found out what it is and he's on his way back because he's a good player."
