Barnet was a blip - Robbo

The Millers were quick out of the blocks last night and raced into a 2-0 lead and held on for a 2-1 victory with Andy Warrington saving a late penalty for the Millers to take home the 3 points.

After a poor showing against Barnet on Saturday, Robins was happy the team have responded well; "I felt the Barnet game was a blip and I believed in the players that they would get back to it at Bury and they did - they were first class against a very good side," he said.

"Every single one of them wanted to win this game and I am delighted with the three points. We've taken them off one of the best in this division and it was only their second defeat.

"It was a tough game in tough conditions with all the rain but we stood up to everything. It's as satisfying a win as we've had but I won't say it's the most satisfying because, to me, they are all satisfying because they're worth three points same as any other." he added.

"We set off very quickly and played with a good tempo. Reuben Reid was outstanding and he gave their left back all sorts of problems and he took his goal well. Drewe then added a second after a great cross by Dale Tonge and I am delighted with the performance and the result."

Robins gave special praise to Andy Warrington for the penalty save; "That was an unbelievable save from the penalty."

Meanwhile Danny Harrison came in for Mark Hudson and Robbo added: "Danny is an unsung hero and tonight I thought he was outstanding, He is the type of player that the supporters will only miss when he isn't playing, he does a great job for us and he was fantastic tonight."
