All about being patient - Moore

Moore's men sealed the game with two goals in the final 10 minutes, including a penalty by Adam Le Fondre, after breaking down a stubborn away rearguard and the gaffer was pleased with the way his side kept knocking at the door.

ronniebig2Speaking afterwards, Ronnie said: "It was all going to be about patience tonight.

"We opened nice and bright and got the goal, we should have been two up but then we conceded a sloppy goal which we were disappointed with. I think we earned the little bit of luck that we got with the penalty but then Drewe's got his goal too and I'm pleased with the win.

"I thought the first challenge was a penalty," added Ronnie. "Apparently it wasn't given for that but for the stamp on Alfie, that's why he gave the penalty, so if they lose their discipline then you cannot blame the referee."

On the two injuries to Dale Tonge and Josh Walker, Moore added: "Josh got a bang on his knee but to be fair to him he carried on.

"His knee was quite swollen at half time and we haven't got many midfield players at the moment so he hung in there as long as he could, before we put Lawsy in there and it worked quite well to be fair.

"Tongey has had a problem with a toe so he has had an injection in his foot before the game - all he needs is some rest on it."
