Cochrane lands Yeovil deal

The midfielder who engineered a Millmoor exit this summer despite having a year left on his contract has joined Paul Warne at Huish Park and both made their debuts in the Glovers' 1-0 defeat at Huddersfield on Saturday.

The former Crewe man has had trials at both QPR and Brentford during the pre season campaign but failed to earn a deal at either London club. Yeovil then took Cochrane on trial where he featured in a friendly against Torquay and did enough to earn a permanent deal for Russel Slade's men.

The London born man scored just one goal in 17 appearances for the Millers last term in a season that was riddled with injury and poor form.
