Kids and family Easter activities in Kimberworth Park

A statement on the clubs official website reads..

This Easter, children will have the opportunity to attend 'Kimmy Park at Play' from 6th- 9th April at 10am-12.30pm and 1pm -3pm.

Activities will take place in Chislett Young People's Centre, Barkers Park and Park View Children's Centre. All activities are suitable for families with children aged 5-11 years. Younger children can attend as part of a family group. All children under 8 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

There will be a wide variety of fantastic indoor and outdoor play activities for children and families to choose from, including story boxes, bead craft, multi-sport, a treasure hunt, bowling, junk modelling and den building. There will also be an Easter Fun Day and tots sports sessions at Park View Children's Centre. A fun family picnic in Barkers Park will round the week off, with games, face painting, treats and Rotherham United representatives presenting certificates to all those who have attended.

Alex Wilson, Health Officer for Rotherham United Community Sports Trust said: "I'm looking forward to seeing all the parents and children next week. It's really great that all these partners have come together to put on these activities in the Kimberworth area."

Kimmy Park at Play is jointly organised by GROW, The Fair Share Trust, Park View Children's Centre, Friends Of Barkers Park, RMBC's Leisure and Green Spaces Team and Rotherham United Community Sports Trust. It is also supported by Chislett Young Peoples Centre.
