After Accrington's takeover announcement in last weeks review, this week's attention turns to Hereford.

The Bulls will be looking for an immediate return to League One and whilst the club battle a cost dispute to fund police based outside Edgar Street on matchdays, boss John Trewick has added four new faces to his squad.

Former Wednesday and Crewe midfield man Kenny Lunt has penned a two year deal, joining him are fellow midfielders Jamie Tolley and former Dagenham man Glenn Southam. Trewick has alos sealed the signing of goalkeeper Adam Bartlett from Kidderminster.

The deals follow last weeks £200,000 sale of former Millers loanee Toumani Diagouraga to Peterborough.

Other transfer activity this week sees Lincoln duo Lee Beevers and Adrian Patulea leave Sincil Bank. Romanian Patulea had declined to sign a new contract by June 16th and has moved to Leyton Orient, while Beevers has penned a deal with Colchester who have had an initial bid for Shrewsbury striker Grant Holt rejected, but will keep one eye on the situation.

Elsewhere Crewe boss Gudjon Thordarsson has vowed not to cave in to fans pressure and rush into any new signings, after selling Tom pope to the Millers and coming under criticism. Off the field Pope this week admitted affray from an incident back in February this year and will appear before magistrates in July with two other men.

Grimsby boss Mike Newell has said he's still looking to complete four of five new deals as well as stave off interest for young defender Adrian Bennett.

A trio of transfers complete our round up, Doug Loft has joined Port Vale from Brighton, Torquay forward Matt Green has joined Oxford on a seasons loan and Gareth Evans has verbally agreed a switch to Bradford City from Macclesfield, as we first reported last week.

Finally, highly rated defender Ismail Yacubu has signed a new two year contract at Barnet.
