Two Review - December 2nd

Rochdale lead the chase for promotion at the summit of League Two following a fine 3-0 away win at Valley Parade against Bradford City. A Dagnall brace in the 12th and 28th minutes set Dale up nicely, which was followed with a O'Grady strike in the 58th minute. Bradford City 12th, Rochdale 1st.

Bournemouth slip to 2nd in the table following a 1-1 draw against Barnet at Underhill. O'Flynn gave the Bees a 15th minute lead, with Pitman levelling in the 43rd minute. Barnet 11th, Bournemouth 2nd.

Rotherham United slipped up at the New Meadoew against Shrewsbury Town as the home side tried to break back in to the play-off places. Fairhurst gave the Shews the lead in the 43rd minute, with Devitt making sure of the win in the 88th minute. Shrewsbury Town 8th, Rotherham United 3rd.

Aldershot Town produced the result of the evening with a fine 5-2 away win at Victoria Road against Dagenham & Redbridge. Charles put the Shots in front on the half hour mark, with Arber levelling from the penalty spot in the 40th minute. Sandell restored the Hampshire side's advantage in the 52nd minute only to see Ofori-Twumasi level a minute later. Morgan put the Shots ahead again in the 59th minute, but this time there was no way back for the Daggers as they conceeded further goals from Jackson in the 77th minute and Soares in the 91st minute. Dagenham & Redbridge 4th, Aldershot Town 7th.

Notts County condenmed Darlington to a 4-0 defeat at Meadow Lane. Rodgers gave County a 12th minute, which was quickly followed with goals from Hughes (14th min) and Davies (17th min). Hughes wrapped up the scoring with his second on the night in the 79th minute. Notts County 6th, Darlington 24th.

Two sides trying to break in to the play-off places met at Christie Park where Morecambe ran away with a 3-0 win over Bury. Jevons netted a brace in the 60th min (from the penalty spot) and in the 80th minute, leaving Futcher to put past his own keeper in the 68th minute. Morecambe 10th, Bury, 9th.

Lincoln City could be nervously looking over their shoulders as they sit just above the drop zone after they slipped to their fourth home defeat of the season at Sincil Bank against Port Vale. Richards have Vale a 40th minute, with Martin levelling with an own goal two minutes after the restart. Dodds scored what proved to be the winner in the 59th minute. Lincoln City 22nd, Port Vale 13th.

Hereford United secured a decent away win over Northampton Town at Sixfields as they eventually finished with a 3-1 victory. Even though Gilligan gave the Cobblers an opening minute lead, Jones levelled in the 16th minute, with Manset putting the visitors ahead in the 57th minute and King securing the win the 74th minute. Northampton Town 18th, Hereford United 14th.

Burton Albion slipped to their third home defeat of the season at The Pirelli Stadium as Accrington Stanley secured their third away win of the season. Kee gave Stanley the lead on the stroke of half time, with Symes putting the result beyond doubt in the 76th minute. Burton Albion 15th, Accrington Stanley 16th.

The only other game to be played on Tuesday evening saw Torquay United give themselves some breathing space just above the League Two drop zone as they saw off Cheltenham Town at Plainmoor with a fine 3-0 win. Zebroski gave the Gulls an 8th minute lead, with was doubled in the 38th minute through Rendell. The points were effectively wrapped up three minutes after the restart when Thomsen put the result beyond doubt. Torquay United 20th, Cheltenham Town 21st.

The only other midweek game to be played this week will see Chesterfield (5th), take on Crewe Alexandra (17th) tonight.
