They may have lost their first away match in the week, but Nottingham Forest were in no modd to slip again as they demolished Crewe Alexandra at Gresty Road. Holt gave Forest the lead just after the half hour mark, only to see Roberts convert a penalty in the 36th minute. From the kick-off, Tyson put the visitors back in front, and then claimed a hat trick with strikes in the 43rd and 45th minutes! Crewe Alexandra 14th, Nottingham Forest 1st .

Scunthorpe United maintain the chase for a place in the Championship with a 2-0 away win at Brunton Park against Carlisle United . Both of their goals came in the second period when Sharp (52nd min) and Keogh (90th min) netted to claim the points. Carlisle United 9th, Scunthorpe United 2nd .

Hot on their heels is Bristol City who were held by Rotherham United at Millmoor. Facey gave the home side the lead in the 53rd minute, but saw City level in the 72nd minute through Murray. Rotherham United 19th, Bristol City 3rd .

Tranmere Rovers will be looking at a draw away to Brentford as 2-points dropped, rather than one gained I suspect! Ide gave the home side the lead in the 38th minute. The scores were level on the stroke of half time when Shuker levelled. Brentford 24th, Tranmere Rovers 4th .

Oldham Athletic slipped to a rare defeat when they slipped up 2-1 against Chesterfield at Saltergate. Larkin netted a brace in the 14th and 33rd minutes before Eardley pulled one back on the stroke of half time. An equaliser was not forthcoming in the second period. Chesterfield 13th, Oldham Athletic 5th .
Yeovil Town occupy the final play-off place following a 2-0 home win over Gillingham at Huish Park. Best gave the home side the lead in the 17th minute, which was followed by a Cohen strike in the 59th to make the points safe. Yeovil Town 6th, Gillingham 15th .

Swansea City were held on their travels to the seaside in Blackpool . An 'og' from Dickinson gave City the lead in the 21st minute. The visitors must have been thinking that they might have done enough until Vernon popped up with the equaliser in the 83rd minute. Blackpool 11th, Swansea City 7th .

Doncaster Rovers continued their climb up League One with a 2-0 away win over Northampton Town at Sixfields. Heffernan gave Rovers the lead in the 75th minute with Guy extending the lead in the 86th minute. Northampton Town 18th, Doncaster Rovers 8th .

Brighton & Hove Albion continue to make steady progress up League One, this time at the expense of Cheltenham Town . Hammond gave the Seagulls the lead in the 56th minute, only to see Victory level in the 74th. A last minute penalty, converted by Hammond for his brace, was enough to claim 3-points. Now for the shambles at Dean Court! Look away now all Cherries fans! After just 2 minutes a defensive school boy error allowed Constantine to net the first of his two goals for Port Vale . Pilkington was allowed to jump higher for their second in the 13th minute. Constantine netted his brace in the 68th minute, only to be followed by a blinding strike from substitute Sodje to round off a miserable afternoon for League Two bound AFC Bournemouth . AFC Bournemouth 21st, Port Vale 12th .

Millwall climbed out of the bottom 4 with their 3rd home win of the season over Bradford City at The New Den. Morais gave the home side the lead in the 6th minute with Byfield converting a penalty in the 33rd minute to make the points safe. Millwall 20th, Bradford City 16th .

Leyton Orient may have beaten Huddersfield Town at Brisbane Road by a single Alexander goal in the 28th minute, but Town won the yellow card count by a convincing margin - 7 to Leyton Orient's 2! McIntosh saw two yellows which saw him depart from the game on the hour mark. Leyton Orient 22nd, Huddersfield Town 17th .
