Bristol City might be about to have the season they were predicted to have 12-months ago. But they do lead a pack of 15-Clubs separated by a mere 5-points! City did help their cause with a 3-1 home win over Chesterfield at Ashton Gate. Carey gave the home side the lead in the 3rd minute, which was cancelled out by Larkin on 20 mins. The lead was restored by Brown in the 39th minute. The winner came 5 minutes after the re-start when Myrie-Williams netted City's third of the game. Bristol City 3rd, Chesterfield 17th.

Crewe Alexandra gave Millwall more to think about as Varney scored the only goal of the game at Gresty Road. Crewe Alexandra 7th, Millwall 23rd.

Gillingham gave Swansea City a lesson or three at Priestfield with a 3-1 win. Cox netted the first of his two goals in the 13th minute. Jarvis extended the lead in the 29th minute. Cox then secured his brace in the 78th minute before Knight netted a consolation in the 84th minute. Gillingham 12th, Swansea City 8th.

Brighton & Hove Albion managed to secure an emphatic 4-1 win over Leyton Orient at Withdean. Reid put the home side ahead in the 15th minute, which was followed on the half hour by El-Abd and Cox on the stroke of half time. Lockwood converted a consolation penalty for the visitors but the 3-goal advantage was restored by Loft in the 90th minute. Brighton & Hove Albion 10th, Leyton Orient 22nd.

Yeovil Town could well have sealed the fate of Hudderfield Town's manager as they managed to squeeze a win out of the Galpharm Stadium! Morris gave the Somerset side the lead in the 13th minute, which was cancelled out by Hudson in the 26th minute. Davies restored Yeovil's lead, but again the home side levelled. This time through Taylor-Fletcher in the 63rd minute. Chen then put Yeovil back in front for the 3rd time, from which the home side couldn't recover. Huddersfield Town 19th, Yeovil Town 11th.

Scunthorpe United lifted themselves away from the drop-zone with a 1-0 win over Chelthenham Town at Glanford Park. The only goal came in the final few moments through Keogh! Scunthorpe United 14th, Cheltenham Town 15th.

The Lancashire-derby at Bloomfield Road saw honours even between Blackpool and Oldham Athletic. Vernon gave the home side the lead 5 minutes before half time. Wellins (62 mins) and Porter (71 mins) seemed to have turned the game round for Oldham Athletic, but Morrell had other ideas with an 89th minute equaliser! Blackpool 21st, Oldham Athletic 16th.

There were 2 other games in League One which could only manage 0-0's. Brentford (10th) and AFC Bournemouth (13th) both struggled to 'nil' in their game, while new Doncaster Rovers (18th) boss, O'Driscoll will be pleased with a 2nd consecutive draw away to bottom club Rotherham United (24th)!
